Atlanta exhibition touts UGA Cortona program
The celebration of the University of Georgia's 40 years of offering a study abroad program in Cortona, Italy, will end with the exhibition "Professori di Cortona," featuring works by faculty of UGA's Lamar Dodd School of Art.

The exhibition will take place Jan. 16-Feb. 27 in the Gallery at the Chastain Arts Center in Atlanta. An opening reception - which is free and open to the public - is set for 7 p.m. Jan. 16.
The Cortona program is one of the university's oldest study abroad offerings and was established in 1970. Several generations of UGA students have received training in the old-world confines of Tuscany, and the curriculum melds studio art or art history with hands-on introductions to Italian language and culture. The 4.5-acre campus in Cortona offers instruction to UGA students, as well as students from other American universities and colleges.
