Crawford happy to return after studying abroad
Ricardo Crawford is not quoting William Shakespeare, but he certainly has a better understanding of the English poet's work after his time in England.

The defensive tackle spent two weeks in England at Oxford University through Georgia's study abroad program studying British Literature, Tudor-Stewart History and Shakespeare.
"It was great," said Crawford, who returned this past Sunday evening. "It was very interesting, but very different."
Crawford, who was recommended to study abroad by Athletic Association director of academic services Ted White, surprised a lot of people when he made the decision to travel out of the country for the first time.
The housing major is the first Georgia student-athlete that White has worked with since he arrived in 2006 to take part in the program.
Now that Crawford has broadened his horizons with a trip outside the United States, he would recommend the study abroad program to other students and student-athletes.
"It's a different culture," Crawford said. "You learn a lot of things, (there are) nice sights, but it's a lot of work. Hands down, it's a lot of work."
When Crawford wasn't studying, he was sightseeing. The football player, who turned 22 last month, visited Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London and attended several plays.
